i thought this was really cool too! also having all your characters in battle as a front party and a back party, and depending on what masters you chose etc the party in the back can be helpful too, heal themselves on their own etc.. if i remember correct, some have their own abilities too.

a large comic panel from the webcomic "kaamos". it's an all blue scene with some snow-covered spruces and oaks and a snowstorm raging on with strong gusts of wind. a huge, unknown shadowy figure on the foreground is facing away from the viewer, getting up to face the protagonist, an anthropomorphic white cat named suvi, who is looking at the creature from the distance. she's dressed in blue winter gear and has a horrified expression.

page 1 of the comic "kaamos". it's polar night, sky is all grey and the ground is covered in snow. it's snowing gently. within the spruce and pine filled woods, there's a small red cabin with a red car parked nearby, and a frozen river with a very tiny dock, all covered in thick ice and snow. on the porch of the cabin sits suvi, a white anthropomorphic cat, with her eyes closed. she has blue winter clothes on.

page 2 of "kaamos". suvi opens her eyes as she hears some crows take off in the distance. all of a sudden she notices how cold it is and shivers with a loud "brrr".

page 3 of "kaamos". suvi gets up, ready to get back inside. she checks the torch by the cabin door, making sure the candle in it is still burning ok, then walks into the tiny, warm cabin it is just a single room with a coatrack, yellow couch, wooden table and chair, and a simple kitchen corner that appears a bit messy. the colour palette changes from cool colours to warm colours once she's inside. she closes the door behind her, leaves her shoes and coat by the entrance and walks to the table on the other side of the room. she sits down, and her phone buzzes with a loud "ding". on the phone screen the date reads 15th december, and the time is 13:08. it can be seen that suvi has plenty of unanswered messages and calls.

page 4 of "kaamos". suvi has a tired, unhappy look on her face as she looks at her phone. she doesn't unlock it, and instead chooses to flip it so she doesn't have to look at the screen anymore. she gets up and hears light tapping coming from the outside, assumedly on the window or walls. she sits down on the sofa, looking out the window. there are tiny ornaments on the windowsill; a snow globe and two white floral-patterned cat figures. she looks outside where it's still snowing, but nothing seems out of the ordinary. from the bright warmth of the cabin, the outside is even darker than it really is.

i'm too lazy to usually promote my own stuff, but my webcomic "kaamos" has been posting on comicfury for about a month now! there's 21 pages to read, here's the first 4! there's no dialogue, just.. stuff happening? weird.

same, though i didn't keep drawing them past childhood. still, always love to see ginga-themed fan stuff, it's so nostalgic. <3 yours definitely blends the classic manga style with your own, making something super unique but also immediately recognizable!

oh that's super interesting! :0 thanks for sharing! i've seen a lot of these plushies, so many people collect (or used to collect) them here in finland, haha. i love seeing ginga merch since it tends to be on the obscure side, it's always really charming.

ahh man that's so neat!! the two gin plushies look surprisingly different despite being the same size (i dunno much about the gdw-era plushies but i know there were two different sizes).. are they the same plush with some wild manufacturing differences, or are they from different but similar lines?

comic cover for my comic titled "kaamos". The title is written on an icy font at the top of the page. a white anthro cat with yellow eyes and blue winter clothes stands on the front, her back turned to the viewer but looking towards the viewer over her shoulder. in the back there's a red cabin. the cat character is surrounded by wintery trees and lots of snow. the colours are mostly greyish blue and the sky is quite grey as well, indicating it's polar night; the darkest time of the year when the sun doesn't rise at all.

i'm making a short comic! it's called "kaamos" (polar night) and it's about.. idk, winter, some vague spooky stuff, and one person's (or cat's) personal struggles. it doesn't try to be anything much, but if you feel like following it, i'll start posting later in december!
