AI being pushed as a treatment or accessibility feature for ADHD is dishonest. Mostly because LLMs don't help with ADHD and the things that are marketed as "AI" only started being marketed that way a couple years ago when AI took off, and are not LLMs.
But if one of them LLMs tried to do it FOR me? Absolutely not, because I've seen where it fucks up so now I gotta go back and make sure it's doing it right which just adds time for me.
I didn’t know this is now thing. The magical pixie dust that maxes software developers’ testing and threat surfaces is also the technological cure all for ADHD. I can only speak for myself, whether it’s my ADHD talking or not, that claim seems likely to cause a lot of harm.

One of the biggest lessons I’m trying to instill in my sons is that, although they have the right to feel their emotions, and it’s important to name and be honest about their emotions, what they do with those emotions AFTERWARD is what matters most.
