Gonna take a break from social media for Lent. See y'all at Easter. If y'all know where to find me elsewhere, holler!

Hell yeah! I'd like to but God its hard to find time
Next year we should let Scoot McNary be the king of a Mardi Gras krewe. Dude deserves to do something fun.
Fun fact: he actually owns the trademark of the name Sting but licenses it to ol' Gordie for like a dollar or something
"George, have you ever said this out loud?"
- Harrison Ford
Showing plays from this game is violence against me, personally
He didn't have anyone around to say "that's a stupid idea George" of which there were several the first time
Don't get me started on A FUCKING BLOOD TEST FOR THE GODDAMN FORCE
We also get shown glimpses of Ob-Wan as something of a detective, which would also be interesting.
The Acolyte as like a Star Wars version of Se7en would've been fantastic
They have a relationship that's half father-son and half older-younger brothers
To me what's way more interesting is what he's doing as a young master while Anakin is a youngling/Padawan.
See but even that still had "actually the Jedi are bad sometimes." Which is neither clever nor original at this point.
Let me see the Jedi just being baddasses fighting evil! Hell, gimme a Jedi police procedural
See, I feel like we've never gotten the Jedi just...existing and doing their thing.
People have absolutely no gratitude for the modern world.
I maintain the much more interesting Obi-Wan story is not what happened between Episodes 3 and 4 but between 1 and 2
Yes
The only real answer for "we HAVE to have Han/Leia/Luke" is an animated movie. Which I'd be fine with!
I've said a few times recently: if there's an upside, its that they're incredibly stupid
Everything I've heard points to not really but Disney wanted new movies ASAFP
Even doing the Zahn series wouldn't have worked because the original cast are just too old (and recasting would've been a disaster). The only call that could've made sense was telling new stories in the universe
So much of it was badly written and lazy!
He also brings an important storytelling logic of the vastness of a galaxy
Hell, figuring out a better way to bring back Krennic would've been better than what they did because at least Mendelsohn put his whole ass into making that character hateable
YES
In general the First Order was a mistake (how the fuck is it first?). Just model it off what Zahn did. Ex-imperials that still hold incredible power over parts of the galaxy. Easy!
The appropriate feminist critique of the film is "shoehorning feminism badly is bad and we're all better off when you don't do it"
The frustring thing is Rogue One and the D+ shows have proved you don't need the 3 leads to make amazingly compelling stuff.
Its one of the 5 worst movies I've ever seen
Or, "actually Poe is a mutinous asshole and not a hero pilot baddass," over a c-plot that could've been solved in a 20 second conversation
The truth is they just needed to go in their own direction with new characters and the original cast as cameo appearances. But the business considerations made that impossible
