Students were working on current events (analyzing the news for rhetoric) and I overheard a student tell her friend that she’d hate for anyone to think she’s Republican because “they’re evil people.” So, you know, the kids are alright.
Funny enough I was actually working on one of your Final Fantasy classes and looking at hairstyle inspirations and decided, hey, why not. So, it’s a little bit your fault. lol

I haven’t been around as I’ve taken on a lot of work in order to survive which is exhausting on its own, but my depression has also been eating at me. I was hoping to go to Dynamite next week, but that may not be in the cards…Regardless, I’m alive, like barely, but I am. So it’s not you, it’s me. ❤️

Spent Halloween right by seeing @realgdt.bsky.social’s adaptation of Frankenstein. An absolutely incredible film. Now after I make my students read the book we can talk about the movie too. 😊
Life has been a lot lately, but I finally fixed my tablet and to break it back in I drew Abbadon from Haunted Hotel because I get his energy. Haha
I'm gonna miss Dynamite because tonight is meet the teacher night, so I'll be busy meeting students (yay) and their parents (anxiety!)...I think I'd rather wrestle Mox.

I didn’t see any of the Hellraiser films until adulthood and that’s because I avoided horror like the plague after being scared of things like Nightmare on Elm Street and Alien and a million other scary movies I was forced to watch as a kid. Now I love horror. lol
When I was 5 my great grandmother let us watch Predator. I hid behind the couch because I was so scared. But that was just the first of many because my dad let us watch whatever horror/action movies my brothers wanted to watch.
Monday Update on Mom
She's doing better today after balancing out a few different issues. Tomorrow she's getting a MRI for her chest to get clear imaging on her heart, along with getting a x-ray on her chest to check out her lungs. Overall recovering positively 🙏😊❤️🩹 Thank You 😎👍
