Harris won NY by over a million votes, there was a ton of polling showing it was safe, there was never a risk she would lose NY and everyone knows it. A protest vote sends a signal to dems, which isn’t much but is more likely to help anyone than a NY Harris vote.
I’m so confused by the way people seem to insist that we approach this conversation pretending the electoral college doesn’t exist. Her New York vote never would have helped prevent this! Obviously!!
