Exactly. Like Ron DeSantis calling Florida the Free State and then deep sixing anything that smacks of freedom.

So very true. What on earth is happening to NBC Nightly News? With all the real news out there, we get…Hulk Hogan? Part of the dumbing down of America?

After weeks of trying, I finally deactivated my X account. I guess I hit enough buttons and crept in through the back door. Do you suppose they make it this hard on purpose? Nah…

I’ve given Twitter lots of time to get their act together and let me deactivate, but nope. No reason why not, just an β€œoops.” Think I’ll follow Ruth Ware’s example and put a post with my new address and a promise I won’t be responding there. Best I can do right now.

Sadly no. But I changed my PW and they may take a few days to okay that. So hopefully soon. Glad yours worked, out, Susan.

No matter what I try, I can’t deactivate my Twitter account. I’ve changed PW twice, removed all connected accounts (surprised to discover what I’d supposedly connected to) and tried for three days to deactivate. β€œOops something went wrong..” Anyone else?

Just tried to deactivate my X account. No go. I tried this morning, too. Guessing the circuits are overloaded. Wonder why?
