After weeks of trying, I finally deactivated my X account. I guess I hit enough buttons and crept in through the back door. Do you suppose they make it this hard on purpose? Nah…

I’ve given Twitter lots of time to get their act together and let me deactivate, but nope. No reason why not, just an “oops.” Think I’ll follow Ruth Ware’s example and put a post with my new address and a promise I won’t be responding there. Best I can do right now.

No matter what I try, I can’t deactivate my Twitter account. I’ve changed PW twice, removed all connected accounts (surprised to discover what I’d supposedly connected to) and tried for three days to deactivate. “Oops something went wrong..” Anyone else?

Just tried to deactivate my X account. No go. I tried this morning, too. Guessing the circuits are overloaded. Wonder why?
