Look at this waveform view from a portion of this week's broadcast. Notice the choppiness in the audio; not continuous sine waves.
I think it's another artifact of their processing.

Suddenly WRMI 5850 kHz audio decreased significantly at 04:05, returned and again at 04:07 UTC, then entire transmission went silent at 04:11, returning to full-strength in less than minute later. @swradiogram.bsky.social
