Regardless of WHAT we do in our lives, our WHY - our driving purpose, cause or belief
- never changes.

Our job is to teach the students we have. Not the ones we would like to have.
Not the ones we used to have.
Those we have right now.
All of them.

Teachers help students find important things they've lost every day. Sometimes it is a paper, backpack, or jacket...other times it is courage, confidence, or a smile.

TO THE WORLD YOU MAY BE JUST A TEACHER
BUT TO YOUR STUDENTS YOU ARE A HERO.

IF WE DON'T FOCUS ON SCHOOL CULTURE, WE MIGHT AS WELL NOT WASTE OUR TIME FOCUSING ON ANYTHING ELSE.

We are not victims of our situation.
We are the architects of it.

Teachers are those who help find strengths, wipe away tears, overpower demons and conquer fears.

The best thing about being a teacher is that it matters. The hardest thing about being a teacher is that it matters everyday.

Great teachers empathize with Kids, respect them, and believe that each one has something special that can be built upon.

We take the view that truly connected educators connect in a wide variety of ways, never losing sight of the fact that no amount of online connectivity can replace connecting face to face.

The role of a leader is not to come up with all the great ideas. The role of a leader is to create an environment in which great ideas can happen.

ONE OF THE BEST THINGS ABOUT BEING AN EDUCATOR IS YOU GET TO START EACH YEAR UNDEFEATED.
