So truuuue hehe, I much prefer dictating the pace of the combat myself than waiting for a shifty AI to do it for me! Not to mention how they blue ball you at the end by taking away Link mode for the entire final "dungeon" and final boss xP

Yeah, 80% of the game i was kinda just wishing I was playing A Link Between Worlds :( Really hope they do something more unique with top down Zelda sometime soon...

The combat typically boils down to just spawning the strongest enemy and running away the whole time, and theres no interesting items or traversal options. While some of the scenarios the game puts you in are fun, and there are fun side quests in there, it loses its luster very quickly.
Grade: C

Mar 3rd: Zelda Echoes of Wisdom

This should've been so much more interesting, but it suffers from a lot of "Breath of the Wild-isms" Clunky menus that take a full minute to scroll thru, the map is literally just Link to the Past again, very few memorable music tracks, puzzle solving is light, (1/2)

the culprit behind local monsters mysteriously becoming overweight has been found!

a new sub-species of gore magala that blasts special scales from its orifices that cause anything that inhales them to gain weight, though it seems not even it is entirely immune to the effects...
