Just finished Quicksilver and Empire of Flames and Thorns. Quicksilver is definitely worth the hype, while Empire of Flames is a bit over hyped. Still a good read and fun vibes, just not what I was hoping it would be.

I don't think the actor Earl Holliman, who just died at 96, officially came out, so I was touched to see his passing confirmed by his husband. His first screen role was in 1952; he came up when, for an actor, coming out was not difficult but impossible. He lived through things we'll never know. RIP.
