Overview of CIRTLβs activities
Our T&L enhancement manager Laura Lee works with teaching grant holders around recruitment processes, setting up codes, navigating ethics, procurement, budgets, reporting. These grants are a really great way to get experience as a PI. Laura very much puts the R in CIRTL.
Nurturing post docs to take the giant step to PI. #researchleadership We find small teaching grants helpful for academic staff to cut their teeth in hiring practices, managing budgets etc. Often the first time theyβve had this experience. www.embopress.org/doi/full/10....

Two sides of the same coin: a taxonomy of academic integrity and impropriety
Cutting through the jargon, this paper by Katy Dineen & @lorettag.bsky.social on βvirtues and vices in academic integrityβ provides a useful taxonomy to better understand academic integrity and the actions that contravene it. #GenAI #highereducation www.tandfonline.com/doi/epdf/10.... #eduSky
