Pretty sure I remember sugar puffs having similar potency.

Indeed. I think I was in the car, up on the road to longformacus.
I've not tried to get 3y0k yet. Very much doubt I'd make it through the din.
I heard J51A this morning and tried calling for way longer than any dignified human should. No joy on 15m or 17m. ๐ซค
See. Two bands, SSB, QRP. Nae bother ๐
I mean boast, obvs
That's nothing to boost about. I've got them on two bands SSB with my little qrp setup. Easy work both times.
I used my Claude allowance to create animated blinky tired eyes on my tiny esp32 boards. Time well spent. The Borg have noticed me. Soon I shall be uploaded to the cloud and available on GitHub for anyone to fork ๐ซค
Tis a brave man that takes the slow bus after more than a single pint....
35 in the log from the car. All on 5W CW. That station in New Mexico did well to hear me!
I got a decent deal from Alan at Sinotel. It was ยฃ150 as a "refurbished" unit. It was completely unmarked and unused when I got it, so must just have been an open box return. It's a very bare-bones wee box but does what it does very well.
Indeed. I was parked down the front of Longniddry No.3 so the wind was pretty brisk at points. It was no match for the triple mag-mount though ๐ช๐ช๐ช
I took the little G106 out too, for its first /p sesh. It's a solid unit for CW and perfectly sized for sitting on the steering wheel.
The Xiegu x6200, despite its MANY faults, is a fun radio to use in the car. 5 watts of CW into an ampro antenna was enough to get through on my first or second calls to most of the ARRL contest stations on 15m earlier.
Dah dit diddly dah...
Careful now. Not too many. A man of your age is prone to the occasional "careless whisper"...
Result! ๐ช๐ช
Indeed it was, until the horrible sleet descended on the walk back.
This guy was working his/her way along the pools down at Aberlady Bay, munching through anything that moved. It was about 20ft in front of us at one point and totally focused on the job in hand (paw?).

youtu.be/46JpBFB22Nk?...
Decent haul there and a pretty mixed bag too. I've only had a single CW contact so far this week. So much for "activity week" ๐ซค
I preferred their first album. This one's a bit prog for my tastes.
You'll need magnifying glasses AND a finger sharpener. Those buttons are tiny!
Try pataks madras curry paste instead of your curry powder. ๐ช๐ช๐ช
Nicely done! I'm always amazed how much there is going on in that little sliver of sky
There's a space between those two....
They should come with a finger sharpener...
You know you want a tiny slice of that tiny action...
Ok, I've gone over to the dark side temporarily... After seeing posts on here about the tiny Cardputer running FT8, I had to give it a go. As of last night, there's an MD5Launcher compatible version of Mini-FT8 available on GitHub. It's pretty impressive and soooooo teenyweeny!
I flippin loved my 150-in-one .... Best Christmas present I ever had.
Somebody left a multi-pack of Tennents lager at work a while back with a sign on it saying "Free to a good home". I don't think they realised the error in their logic....
Oooft! That's just plain silly!
I'll stick with the Guinness zero for the moment. Not a big fan of lager.
'Respected' ๐๐๐
Has that Amber Gambler been licking the toads again.
I keep telling myself that I'll buy a hot air station one day but it hasn't happened yet. Thankfully I've managed so far with the stuff I have here, backed up by a moderate amount of swearing.
