Yay!!! π€© huge congrats to both of you
How do brain networks tracking past trauma react to stress in the future? Thrilled to share new work from the lab led by rockstar postdoc @felhardi.bsky.social with wonderful collab @dylanggee.bsky.social

Grateful to be gathering and hearing exciting science from the cog neuro community at #CNS2025! Weβve got new ideas to share:
Sat 3p - poster A94 from Jean Ye
Sun 5p - C147 from @zhoui.bsky.social
Mon 10am - π±symposium! feat @davidclewett.bsky.social, @barense.bsky.social, @liladavachi.bsky.social
Of course, please email me and I would be happy to send!
In light of recent emotionally salient events - wondering how these are remembered? Iβm thrilled to share new work from the lab, led by lab manager Julia Pratt, capturing emotional memories *inside and outside the lab* and quantifying their accuracy & structure pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39870487/
Excited to be part of the college, and congratulations to the amazing folks listed here! Thanks to Rajita Sinha and @ralisonadcock.bsky.social for their letters and support #acnp2024
I want to draw attention to a special issue that Lila Davachi and I put together to memorialize our friend and colleague Sarah DuBrow. Itβs full of papers inspired by her work and her being from a group of collaborators, friends, and fans! Thanks @bradpostle.bsky.social for helping make this happen.
π thanks for making this, would love to join the series!
π if there is still space - great to have so many memory folks here!

When are our memories integrated or fragmented? In our new review, Krystian Loetscher and I consider how stress and alcohol influence memory binding. Check it out as well as the rest of the exciting Stress and Alcohol special issue of Neurobio Stress! pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38375503/
Thanks, and very cool paper! We focused on episodic memory for that study, but do discuss your findings in pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37390333/ and a new paper under review (stay tuned!)
Check out CAMS posters at SfN!
Yuye Huang: Sat 11/11 | 1-5pm | TT16 Dynamic brain mechanisms supporting salient memories under cortisol
Dawn Nguyen: Sun 11/12 | 8-12pm | II12 Biases in hippocampal and striatal learning in trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder
The CAMS Lab is recruiting a #postdoc! π for researchers with experience & interest in fMRI and memory/affect. Learn more about our work and values at medicine.yale.edu/lab/goldfarb/ ; please email me [elizabeth dot goldfarb at yale] your CV and coverletter if interested! #neurojobs #psychjobs π§ π¦
Thanks for the q! Some thoughts - cort resp can differ w challenge/threat appraisal, so would help to test multiple cort levels (we only used 1 dosage). Notable that our subj didn't "feel" stressed (or even know what pill they took!) so def need more work on stress affect/appraisal fx on hipp
So excited to have this out - congrats co-auths @brynnsherman.bsky.social, Bailey Harris, Nick Turk-Browne, and Rajita Sinha!
First empirical pub from the lab! Fear generalization - spreading β‘οΈ assoc to similar stimuli - characterizes anxiety. Here we show that π· assoc also spread to similar stimuli for indiv engaging in risky drinking pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37682597/
Hi all! Greetings from the CAMS (Cognitive neuroscience of Affect, Memory, and Stress) Lab; excited to share our work with you and learn from you all
