in OTHER NEWS i am. talking to an employment lawyer next week. lmao. don't wanna say too much about it but mostly i'm just hoping for some guidance/advice about how to cope with jan/feb after which i fully plan to leave my job. it's just not worth it anymore

after an extended period of chronic stress and heightened depression, i've really been feeling the strain on my cognitive functions and it's hit really hard in writing. new thing is still struggling to be born, but i feel some of my higher order thinking abt character and plot coming back

writing-wise, i have been plugging away at Het Romantasy Project and, while it's coming a bit choppy and slow, i feel very good about the thoughts i've been having about it??

i finished the handspun i had been spinning supported and it has a lovely gradient even if it’s a bit uneven. also finished the fishies in the halibut sweater (yes, i know, it is what it is). then got bored of the body stockinette so now im practicing my first cables!

spinning has been going SO well, i just adore this hobby. incredible ups to the friend that brought my wheel into my life. went to The Big Sheep and Wool Fest and did indeed see sheep. also picked up supported spindle spinning and getting better every day!

wrote a couple of fics for exchanges recently (finally did my own verso/maelle heyooooo) and have a few more on the way for the next few months, so i hope the ones that you might like find you! ow peeps in particular get excited for march lol

i’m currently off work on leave (good thing) and devoting lots of time to taking care of myself and trying to improve the circumstances that got me here, but overall i’m doing okay!
