But in neighborhoods across the city, ICE is getting chased by people blowing whistles and shouting. People are running TOWARD ICE to protect neighbors.
Can confirm, ICE raided our neighborhood yesterday and the community immediately showed up - constant updates about what cars ICE was using and what direction they were going, people showing up to monitor school being let out, offers to pick up kids/groceries/medicine, I’m so proud of Chicago.
