This is especially important for VFR flights. Do you specifically check for non standard approach paths? What resources do you use? Do you consider this a possible threat? Do you go further to find out why the approach path is non-standard?
New question for the #aviation people, especially if you're flying GA. I fly for the airlines, so we're really insulated from this a fair bit. My Q... how do you prepare for a trip to a new airport, specifically do you check for non-standard glide paths (not 3.0º).

I used to watch a guy in PAO, modifying and prepping Cessnas and Mooneys for ferry flights to Asia. First stop Hawaii. There are a lot of ways to make money in this biz…not sure I would choose that.
This is the correct answer. The 50 and 100 feet were in my head. I forgot it was a CEO vs NEO difference.
It’s also supposed to add a little forward resistance so that your flare feels like conventional flight controls.
