We were delighted to be at the North West base dog trials this weekend, watching teams compete against each other in all elements of GP police dog duties
A great event with dogs showcasing their abilities & why they really are a formidable force when it comes to fighting crime
Remember RPD Winnie who we were able to support last month with the removal of her eye?
Well we are pleased to say she is making great progress & most importantly now pain free! ๐๐ป

Her owner was able to contact us directly & we allayed any fears of spiralling costs, which allowed the right decisions to be made Gina.
It was touch and go, but we are delighted to say Gina has now made a full recovery & @lrpduk.bsky.social covered the full cost of her treatment

Last month we supported RPD Gina after she fell gravely unwell whilst on holiday in ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ
Whilst on a beach walk she had eaten part of a dead star fish which proved to be toxic. She fell unwell very quickly and was rushed to an emergency vets.
