I broke out the old Women's Weekly Cakes and Slices book yesterday & made a choc-mallow cake. It tastes really good, but the melted marshmallows were too melted & it made a big mess!

I'm really liking Andor so far. The story's good, I like the characters, and it's well paced. I'm only a few episodes in, but I can see why Tilly loves it so much!
Apparently, half a bottle of aldi pink moscato is enough to make me tipsy!
What can I say? I'm a sucker for a good space chase scene!
I'm always so proud of myself when I buy meat in bulk, then manage to use it all before it goes off! I turned 1kg of mince into chilli con carne yesterday and another 1kg into burgers tonight. The chilli made chilli dogs, chilli cheese fries, and there's heaps left to make nachos tomorrow!

I only have to finish 4 more assignments on top of the 18 assignments I've already submitted, and then I'll be finished with my diploma course! I'm a bit excited!

Thought I'd give this place another go
I feel like I was tricked. He spent months barely able to keep his hands off me, then we moved in together & it all stopped. For over 20 years, I was blaming everything from my weight gain to my mental health issues. Now I realise it wasn't a me problem. Relationships are complicated.
This is one of the major reasons my marriage is dying. When one person would rather wank to porn than have sex, it leaves the other person feeling lonely, undesirable, frustrated, etc. I have dreams about cheating regularly.

Today, I've made jelly cups, tres leches cake, cheesecake, coleslaw, & potato salad. I've done 4 loads of washing, 2 baskets of folding, most of the dishes, swept & mopped the kitchen, & parented. All with a migraine that's kept me on the verge of dizziness & nausea for days. I should get a medal!
He's very elderly, so sometimes he doesn't make it outside! The real issue has been that he sometimes pees in his sleep. Given that he always sleeps cuddled up with me, I needed to get him nappies because I've been peed on more than once!

My dog peed in his sleep last night. It didn't make a mess because he was wearing a dog nappy! I call that a win!
It was so cool seeing my work in the craft hall at the Melbourne Show. I feel very clever!
