no I guess we won't acknowledge that this is all stolen from human writers
no I guess we won't acknowledge that this is all stolen from human writers
I don't think that happens enough these days - especially on social media.
So I'll take the heat and apologise instead of hiding my shame.
Obviously I can't edit the post to replace the bad link with the direct one.
And I considered deleting the post to banish that link to the burning dumpster in which it belongs, but I think two things are more important - taking accountability when you fuck up & being seen to correct your mistake.
A screenshot of the post this poster is replying to, with the link hidden, flagged and labelled as "Fringe Media & Disinfo"
That was absolutely my mistake. It was only when I saw the flag/label and someone else questioned it that the problem became clear. I then shared the direct link to the memo in the US House of Reps document repository, because it's the content of the memo, not the article, that is important here.
Yeah, my bad, as @saskboy.bsky.social said below, I wasn't aware how bad the source itself was until it was flagged in this thread. It was just the link through which the memo was shared with me originally and I'd saved that link instead of the direct government link to the memo itself.

Or a Eurovision voting sequence
I am convinced that if you asked all the employees in my department how much they use or are enthusiastic about LLMs, it would inversely correlated to performance. The top rated people that I've talked to refuse to use it, the bottom performers use it all the time. AND IT SHOWS.
It's always women. That's why they won't let us have pockets.
My hottest mental health take:
A lot of depression and anxiety is situational, and warranted, because people live in shit circumstances. Theyβre poor, without resources, etc. and the reason itβs become popular to blame βmental healthβ is because itβs a way of evading responsibility.
"Have you tried to think more positively about the degenerative chronic illness that is literally eating you from the inside out and keeps you mostly homebound, and that when you're inevitably no longer able to work from your laptop in bed that there will be no help for you?"
Fuck all the way off.
I want to scream every time a doctor asks me if I've tried CBT.
Like, yes I have and I wish I could gaslight myself into believing that my anxiety is "irrational" instead of a reasonable response to my material circumstances, but I can't, so no I don't want another fucking referral, thanks.
Poster on the ground outside the American Embassy in London. It's of Netanyahu and Trump and it says "WE TRUST YOU" in large letters. There is a second, smaller sign with a picture of Netanyahu and Trump that says "THANK YOU" in large letters.
Just found this little nugget of insanity out front
So of course the ruling class had to divide us and smash it by dangling "a return to normality" in front of us like a carrot. By 2022-2023 they'd manufactured consent for what would've been unthinkable in 2020.
"no govt on earth was going to hold to the standard youβre describing"
They would have if we'd all stood together and demanded it. If unions and other organizations had framed it as a worker's rights issue and fought in solidarity. We were starting to build that solidarity in 2020-2021...
So I'm sure you can imagine why my point of view on covid response is that Republicans stabbed us in the front while Democrats stabbed us in the back.
All the people I thought I could trust calling me crazy for continuing to protect myself because "the government says it's just like a cold now" despite the millions of pages of peer-reviewed studies that continue to show the exact opposite & full knowledge of my health conditions? Pretty personal.
So when the Democrats went in heavy on the eugenicist language - Fauci's "the vulnerable will continue to fall by the wayside, get infected, hospitalized, and die" and Wollensky's "it's really encouraging that mostly people with pre-existing conditions are dying" - yeah, I took that personally.
I take 3 different immunosuppressants long-term, one of which is a chemotherapy drug and the other is a biological monoclonal antibody. I'm also a stroke survivor. I still wear an FFP3 (N98 equivalent) at all times outside my home because SARS2 will kill me horribly in myriad ways.
Great article about Biden admin's betrayal by disability justice activist @sfdirewolf.bsky.social for Teen Vogue.
"COVID Isnβt Going Anywhere. Masking Up Could Save My Life."
Alice Wong died of an in-hospital-acquired infection in November 2025.

They're the PR firm that told the dems to declare victory over covid in 2022.
"Back to normal" could have been new IAQ regulations in all indoor public spaces and providing high-quality masks to wear in healthcare settings & crowded spaces to reduce spread. Not "fuck it, we've got a non-sterilizing vaccine that doesn't provide long-term immunity so throw caution to the wind."
The problem is that the dems were "trying to get back toward normal" not because the pandemic was over and there was no risk, but because they wanted to declare a win despite people still becoming disabled and dying from covid.
Yeah, looking further at that site I can see why it's flagged. It was the link with the memo that was shared with me some time ago and I recognise now - thanks to the flag - the site itself is a bad source.
It's the memo's content that is important, which is why I have shared the .gov direct link.
Bluesky doesn't like the link I shared and is hiding it, so here's a direct link to the memo in the US House of Representatives Document Repository.
docs.house.gov/meetings/VC/...
A curse upon the house of anyone who sings "Solidarity Forever" unmasked in public. May their vocals be perpetually pitchy and may they choke on every fucking word.
*Leftists too, which, as a leftist, makes me angrier than any other fucking demographic.
As if SARS2 protection isn't related to worker's rights, disability justice, community care, child safeguarding, elder abuse, etc?!
Furious the Cons were right about how many were virtue signalling all along.
I don't disagree with your opinion in general - Biden was just better able to manufacture consent for ending protections because he gave liberals* permission to blithely abandon public health and let "vulnerable people fall by the wayside".
*(see below)
That's not entirely true. From 2022: www.lifesitenews.com/news/leaked-...
Trump: "Take horse dewormer and sacrifice grandma for the economy"
Biden: "We need a political win and people back at work to exploit, so ignore the mountain of evidence to the contrary and enjoy some brunch, ya'll! Unmask, you've earned it! It's totally safe for grandma, we swear! β€οΈπ"
