Nope, they probably communicated with Thune who told them there's no way they're going to get anyone through. They don't have enough sycophants to force it, so they're not even trying.

Now think how bad those candidates have to be, that their own majority can't do it.

Intelligence information systems should be internally controlled by the government. Meaning some of them might need to be nationalized. Meanwhile the current owners of those assets might be using their information over seas, that should be investigated for treason, spying, etc.

Isn't that actually pretty high? I was under the impression that click through buys were in the 1-2% range at best.

Of course that's a poll with no sales numbers too, so kind of worthless as an actual metric. Was he expecting more astro turf?

Just wait until the Dems come out with their coin.

The acronym gore is going to be epic.

Compare prices for enshitified devices that only work online vs the same device that works locally. The shitty device is always cheaper, because your privacy and autonomy are the product.

I only had one guy ever try this with me. I punched him in the solar plexus. He stopped doing that.

Pretty sure the same solution would still work.

Apparently it would be teratophilia. Always neat to learn a new word.

Short answer, no. Longer answer, hell now.

Cuba, at best, has sympathizers in the US that could do what any other domestic terrorist might do.

Leaving a public comment is easy and took me less than a minute. Link toward bottom of article. Super worth-it.

Probably coincidence, Iranian reactions are going to be disjointed by an interrupted chain of command. They're going to have disconnected units following last known orders, seemingly at random from the outside.

My personal conspiracy is that they sent him to Mara Lago this weekend hoping Iran already had a sleeper in Palm Beach.

China sacrificed the health and well being of it's environment and people to expand it's manufacturing capability no matter the cost. Since they have a billion people, it worked. It's up to them if it was worth the cost.

What makes Taiwan valuable is the chip production. The US controls the source of the silicon for the chips. So if China takes Taiwan, it becomes worthless if it upsets the US.

I don't get why we're sending aid to Israel at all. They're an advanced economy that can support themselves. They can buy their own weapons without our help.

Oh darn, she won't get to expand her slave trade?

04.03.2026 19:10 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

During all those wars the US had production capacity that just needed more people or money from somewhere else within the US. That's no longer true. We can't build the machines that build our machines internally any more.

04.03.2026 19:05 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Sure eventually production can be created. When it's a war material though, that time line has to be before you run out of munitions, or it's effectively never. And considering how fast we can select targets now, it's a really short time line.

04.03.2026 18:29 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

Why is it the only thing congress can agree on, is that people should be further in debt, and more people should be in debt?

04.03.2026 18:22 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Politically now is their shot. I think what stops them is that the advanced chip industry right now still requires silicon that can only come from one mine on the planet, and it's here in the states. They're getting close to cracking that nut though.

04.03.2026 18:15 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

I'm not even sure we could if given full political will. Advanced arms are dependent on advanced inputs. Chips, sensors and materials that I seriously question if we could ramp up production, no matter the cost. There are bottlenecks in the production line.

On that note, how is North Korea's nuclear program these days? Haven't heard a lot about that in a while.

Especially for those folks that want to say we've been at war for 47 years. Because we're still at actual war with DPRK.

Dems should have put Oliver North and his conspirators in prison for treason. Bush, Cheney, and on down the chain of command to Guantanamo torture and the entire Iraq war, should have been prosecuted and imprisoned. Not doing that, is what got us here.

Only if you're a Democrat.

Semafor Keeps Hosting Ridiculous β€œRestoring Trust In Media” Events That Only Further Undermine Trust In Media You might recall that when political news website Semafor entered the media industry on the back of $25 million in private money, they made all kinds of promises about how they were somehow going t…

I wrote about how @semafor.com keeps hosting "restoring trust in news" events that unironically elevate all the shittiest people in media most responsible for declining trust in news.

Corruption, the Dems have had a problem with it since forever. It's a large part of what helped Reagan get elected. And because of it Reagan got away with treason, Bush with torture, and now Trump with everything. Along with a huge list of people in between.

03.03.2026 16:14 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

That's the thing, I pretty much expect total media control indoctrination. It just surprises me they don't use actual exploits to their own benefit further. I mean they put up big ass war monuments, you'd think they'd use it as fuel.

03.03.2026 15:55 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Kinda crazy they'd leave that big of an example of national effort just ignored. And sad honestly.
