Dear, the rabbit's leg has been amputated. That would be a miracle indeed...

Though, take that with a pinch of salt as I, of course, only went to those schools and I don't have a non-religious school to compare them to personally. How would I know really if they were different or not?

College, however, was a breath of fresh air and peace from religious imagery and talk.

I wouldn't say the teachings "got" to me all that much as they were just pretty crap all around to be fair. In primary school, it was more about using the bible in teaching you to be a good person (parables were big back then).

Catholic school was just trying to get you to fit a mould.

That sounds very silly now, but it was the start of me thinking that they didn't care about discussing things and they didn't care about me actually thinking about things. All they wanted was blind agreement, blind obedience.

Christian primary school then Catholic secondary school.

Every time I "disagreed" with the religious studies teacher when presenting two sides of an argument on x religious topic, I was marked down a grade. Every time I "agreed," same content, just one different line, I was marked up a grade.

Oof, buses were bad even when I was younger and didn't drive, they seem even worse now for reliability and price. Trains used to be good - now I think it's often cheaper still for me to drive and definitely cheaper with 2 people.

Absolutely agree, they're not understanding how things are.

Most people drive to work... So...don't work?

Not sure how they expect this to happen, no one is typically driving around for fun (as that would be way better).

Manifesting good weather for the end of next week is not going well...

It's ok, the end of the arena just occasionally becomes a portal into the otherworld, it's all fine.

I think I've over saved for my tax this year, so I'm hoping for a little extra money in April after submitting my self-assessment with HMRC.

However, I will be caught by making tax digital and have to keep records in a new system from April...ew.

Though I do wonder how the experience of being (in my case) an AFAB furry author contrasts with someone AMAB (and cis, for argument's sake) in the fandom.

Horses are complicated 😅

Philip Pullman said that anything that a child might encounter in their childhood is appropriate material for a children's story.

I checked the temp of her feet though and all is good, not presenting as foot soreness. Just wart as vet was out for another horse and they were pushing lami (despite him having an abscess).

Both bored. I've set up the other field for them (fencing check etc) and will try putting then out tomorrow. Hopefully some time off work will resolve the lameness but I'm cautious of lami.

I'm dubious tbh with certain results simply having been removed from search. However, I've not looked at this, for transparency.

I think others have put it well in stating how much this bulldozes writers though artists don't seem to get much help either.
