I completely understand why people want to read Wicked as queer but I think there’s something so beautiful about the exploration of friendship in the story. Romantic love isn’t central and I love that. But yes Glinda does give “queer girl who think she’s obsessed with boys energy” so I do see it.

Wicked really lives up the hype, which I thought was impossible. Take your expectations and raise them.
