In panel 1, the two are hugging with tears in their eyes as Nash is disappearing into orbs of light. Chase is saying, "This isn't fair! I-I need you, Nash!" Nash says, "Chase, hey..."

In panel two, Nash has pulled back slightly and taken Chase's paws in his own as he gives him a sad smile through tears. More light is coming off of him. Chase is actively sobbing now. Nash is saying, "You're gonna be alright. I know it."

In the third panel, we get a close-up on Nash as he's begun actively disappearing, except for his scarf. He says his final words, "Cuz you're the bravest guy I ever met."

In the final panel, we see a shot of Chase, surrounded by darkness as he holds Nash's scarf up, and through tears, quietly says "Nash..."
