I Swear is a brilliant film. Caught up with it today.

Howled at that trailer for Scary Movie 6. They have picked the right movies to spoof.
I have a lot of thoughts on Scream 7. I wrote them on twitter and in my review. I liked it more than anything.

It was Hamnet. Loved it so much. Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal are absolutely brilliant.
I watched a certain Oscar nominated film and my heart broke a little. Utterly beautiful in every way. I'm going to enjoy writing the review to that.
I know that's going to sweep the Oscars. I still think it sucks.
The less said about Cathy's father, the better tbh. He definitely gets the shit end of the deal here. It looks gorgeous in parts, Fennell has an eye for colour and the costumes are nice. There's better adaptations obviously but it's good at attempting something a bit different.
Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi alternate between being both miscast as Cathy and Heathcliffe but oddly compelling to watch with solid chemistry with each other. Alison Oliver took a thankless role with Isabella and made something decent out of it. Edgar and Nelly are on good form
Caught up with #WutheringHeights. Come on, people, that wasn't that controversial. Emerald Fennell likes the idea of being a provocateur but doesn't quite commit to the idea. It's tamer than Pillion was recently. Anyways, creative liberties to one side, it's pretty good.

I like it. Nice to see Evan Peters in a less crazy role in Ryan Murphy's world.
It's basically Nip/Tuck meets American Horror Story though.
International setting is a nice touch.
I'm fine with Andy Muschietti and Christina Hodson being responsible for Batman: Brave And The Bold.

It mostly stuck the landing but definitely needed to be shorter.
I liked the Stranger Things finale but it also didn't need to be two hours long. An hour and a half would've sufficed. Good ending though.
