An anthropomorphic nasturtium flower is drinking a tall glass of lemonade out of a pink/lavender straw, with two white kittens in the foreground. One is curious, standing and leaning it's paws against the glass. In a red/orange/blue/white/yellow color scheme.

A huge staghorn beetle is eating cookies with a puppy out of a tin, with bleeding hearts flowers with faces snoozing over them, one awake and observing. In a hot pink/blue/yellow/teal color scheme.

Finally scanned the risographs of these two designs, pretty pleased with how they turned out! 🏵️🐈🪲🐕

my trick is to scroll down so that you can only see the shadow of her foot, then focus on it going one way over the other. It’s a lot easier for the brain to change expectations for a simplified shape than a complex one!

Also never let art spaces on social media convince you that your work won’t be read— people READ!!! And you’re a good writer! Even if it’s not the same crowd that follows you for your art, it’s still totally possible to be successful and find people who actively want to read a project like yours

This is how I feel about the fox story! I have other projects im 100% writing but I’d love to incorporate art into the fox one specifically. I think unique formats like that can be so effective

i started out with a pretty small canvas, 244x261 pixels judging from the wip i currently have open (lol). unfortunately when i uploaded it to bluesky the small size didnt scale right, so i enlarged it specifically for social media posting
