We have funding to support projects across a variety of datasets. Fellows may pursue any combination of projects to best build their programs of research. Topics of interest within the overarching theme of experience-driven neurodevelopment include but are certainly not limited to:

Neuroscience has a species problem If neuroscience is serious about building general principles of brain function, cross-species dialogue must become a core organizing principle.

If neuroscience is serious about building general principles of brain function, cross-species dialogue must become a core organizing principle rather than an afterthought, writes @suthanalab.bsky.social.

🧠 Not all brain age algorithms are equal!

In our new study, one algorithm (Pyment) outperformed other models in youth. Algorithms fail when your sample's age range is narrow or mismatched with training data. So, choose wisely...

We started this project to better reflect the complexity of lived experiences in development and help explain the wide range of individual differences in adult behavior and health following early adversity. Our data show measuring both promotional and adverse experiences together is key!
