I know it's weird to be the "middle man" but this is a way that balances amplifying reach and resources while still offering protection to those doing the work on the ground

While the people I know are not as comfortable putting their names/information out there due to fear of being targeted by ICE they have asked me highlight this and also ask for donations.

The first is approaching, and neighbors who have been too afraid to leave their homes, have not been able to work and thus could be facing eviction. Thus they need money to pay rent.

officialy closed data collection for my dissertation and while I seem to have a few bots - overall my dataset appears to be comprised of real people!!! I'm so incredibly grateful for everyone who participated :')

Had yet another wonderful #APA2025. Got to co-create some beautiful spaces with dear friends and colleagues. And I also was honored to receive the Janet Hyde Graduate Research Award from APA Division 35 (Society for the Psychology of Women)

Super excited to be presenting twice at #APA2025 this year! And even more excited to be facilitating these important spaces and conversations with wonderful colleagues turned friends.

I've basically hit a third of my data collection goal for my dissertation study. I'm so deeply humbled and grateful for all the Black women of the diaspora who have taken the time to take my survey. This work means so much to me and i'm honored to be trusted by my community :')

But also on the flip side eternally grateful for those who stuck around and helped me get through. Bc BAYBE if I coulda left myself back then I would have and yall stuck around!!! Literal angels
