I hate when the teacher makes a class bad.
I missed that. Probably because I also snub power metal.
Don’t get me started on online testing.
I push stuff to the next test if I can’t get it graded in time for the current one. There’s a cycle of “Teach It, Let Them Practice It, and then Test It”. It’s the only way to be fair.
2+ weeks is too long.
Okay, a network TV show with the line “they consider themselves deathcore but I consider them crapcore”. One of us was working on this show!
Okay. I’ve been working my way through Bones because the woman I’m dating loves the show. I just reached an episode where I got to hear Stephen Fry list all of the metal genres and then a discussion of the difference between death and black metal.
I had been on my way out for several years (but hadn’t realized it) but the final straw was the 2016 election. I couldn’t be a part of anything where 80% of the members supported Trump.
Weekends are so much better without church.
My grandpa would run in the house to get my grandma to kill the snakes for him. He would bolt from the room if one came on TV.
Much sympathy to all of the parents out there who will have to get their kids out of bed and to school on time tomorrow morning.
So very true. Putting on my academic hat, the built environment plays a big role in lifestyles. More people will walk or get outside if you make it easier for them to do so.
Completely makes sense. I do hate the dark mornings though. I like to do morning walks before work but the sidewalks around here around safe in the dark.
I'm pro-DST only because I can now sit outside after work with a book and a drink for a reasonable period of time.
Well, to be fair, it wasn't very challenging.It helped that 3 of the 5 were in North American and I grew up 45 minutes from one of them.
This is my best score so far. If only I knew Scandinavia better.

It might be the volume that I would drink that makes it expensive.
Two-Hearted is an IPA that, from my dating experiences, an IPA hater can enjoy so maybe it's not a real IPA. Or it could be what an IPA was supposed to be before American brewers fucked it up.
Well, the Belgians are far superior but they are typically not available or too damn expensive. I had a couple of Brooklyn Browns tonight that tasted very good.
I agree that there are some bad IPAs but I'm a fan of the good ones:

I got my answers. Now it’s up to me.
Problem is that I want to taste what it does for a Manhattan now! Especially since the time change is about to happen which is when I spend more time sitting outside reading books and sipping cocktails. Oh well, I'll just have to wait.
