Thank you! This matches pretty well with the guidance I was planning on giving, which was how to optionally move the held sleeve stitches if your full bust and high bust are more than 2" different. As a AA myself, though, I was worried it might be overly finicky for no reason
#Knitsky I have a question specifically for busty knitters. I'm designing my first sweater pattern. Do you find it useful to have more stitches in front than in back when separating the sleeves from a circular yoke? Does that improve fit, or does the drape of the yoke make it unnecessary?

I'm glad your dog isn't bothered by the cold. Mine is. He is far more willing to go out and do all his business when he's wearing a sweater. Without one he's reluctant to go outside and rushes back in after peeing without taking the time to poop. Nobody's forcing you to put your dog in one
And? He's a dog with a short coat and it's 18 degrees outside today. He doesn't mind wearing sweaters at all and it keeps him safer from getting too cold when we take him out

You can learn any of them at any age, even if you're clumsy! I think cross stitch has the shortest learning curve of the ones you asked about (I do them all), but all three needle-and-thread crafts need decent close vision (or adequate glasses) and good light

The red hat knitting pattern has caused a lot of discourse that I think has been mostly circular and unhelpful. @badasscrossstitch.bsky.social warns in her book that Craftivism often leans too hard into "craft" and not enough into "act." That said, there are so many ways to make change through art
I try not to cross the streams between this "real" account and my secondary "fandom" account, but here is a very cool example of Craftivism - donating fanfiction and fanart commissions to a charity auction. I've signed up to create three fanfiction pieces

Back to Black is back!
@gamesdonequick.com’s annual fundraiser for Race Forward has returned for Black History Month. Last year, GDQ's @blackinaflash.bsky.social community of players raised $44K. They're back again, February 5-8, to speedrun through your favorite classic and latest video games.
I'll be hosting another charity KAL starting March 31 (Trans Day of Visibility), raising money for the Transgender Law Center. Not currently planning on doing blog posts or giveaways, but if there are yarn dyers or pattern designers interested in a collab, please reach out!
