To a certain extent, I think that the more you demystify the reason behind a delay, the more people will tolerate it, even if it includes technical jargon that non-avgeeks might not understand or implicitly care about

One of the nice things (of which there are few) about BER is that there is a decent grocery store directly in the terminal that sells food at normal grocery store prices, sparing you the pain of paying hiked up airport concession prices. I always stop there on my way into the terminal
