All extremely excellent miniatures work in those!
respect! I love this game and I am so bad at it... when that little fella from the left appears and flys at me I'm toast
I'm easing in and out some chromatic aberration to make it feel like a busted CRT and a randomly positioned and scaled rectangle of distortion pops in at 4sec intervals.
and all these R look pretty cool in dark mode too! Because I'm using three.js to extrude a bunch of SVGs on the fly to make the objects I end up with a bunch of wild triangles all over these polygons but I love how they look.
It took a lot of fine tuning to get the record-scratch motion just right.
I also went through a bunch of different glowy blob type things to demo what a finger or a mouse was supposed to do. But I settled on this dial with tick lines.
One of my favourite features of this interactive thingy is this education moment to let ppl know that it is interactive. If no one swipes or hovers over any of the letters for 4 seconds it plays this little auto-spin!
Tonight I'm working on the letter R!
lol imagining nirvana the band and possession as a, possibly perfect(?), double bill! 🫠
A short joke near the end of Nirvanna The Band The Movie was quietly one of the hardest to shoot. "We shot that 15 different times with 15 different people [...] Nirvana The Band is basically a tool-assisted speedrun of a movie," director Matt Johnson says. gameinformer.com/interview/20...
This is such an energetic interview! Such interesting and thorough answers!
I saw the movie this week and so many of the perfectly bewildering things from it are still bouncing around in my head.
Two dogs lying down on a concrete floor facing the same direction
Took this photo of one of my dogs jumping over my other dog
Nirvana the band the show the movie is so much fun.
Highly recommend to see in the cinema for its tiny run if you get the chance.

Tweet that reads Leo Xander @STALLEON Stop taking social media so serious. Nothing here is real. Look at this chicken V - it is bigger than the car
I think about this tweet every time I feel something online start to curl its annoying little grip into my head
The Japanese title was "Captain Supermarket"
Yep agree, so many well considered products, but to bookend it all with this shitty spam is such a bummer.
#Enshittifcation is alive and well at #IKEA, this self service checkout sprung 4 separate popups on me 😡
One day someone is going to agree with me that the best solution to a11y colour contrast is to simply give yourself over, completely, to MIX-BLEND-MODE:DIFFERENCE
eep! my bad...
That control is rad! But what's being proposed is a control that will cut out any image post that doesn't have alt text added (and is, by a definition, low quality) from our feeds.
That's an excellent idea! In the short term it would def work, and in the long term it would provide an incentive for high quality posters who did get skipped to write alt text.
I have spent all day making this completely ridiculous low-poly giraffe in (kind of) the shape of an N 🦒✌️🫠
@charityedwards.bsky.social 🌴🚛🔥
Adding some more contrast to the edges of those blinding white letters. This is from a phone breakpoint when the letters stack on top of each other.
lol I have to fix that terrible giraffe 🫠
Some new interactive letters for my (soon to be) site. These solid white wireframes have come out of my brain squished together from 80s hi-fi manuals, a post-punk(?) album with arch windows I can't remember the name of... and bits lifted from Ettore Sottsass & Wim Crouwel too
