Beautiful evening at the Ulster Museum with an audience for a special screening of the first two episodes of Leonard and Hungry Paul. Delighted with the reaction. Thanks so much to BBC Northern Ireland for all the support. They really championed this and made it happen.

Happy #Pride, Belfast!
To celebrate, we want to share 'Fear', 'The Shame' and 'Chaps' from the series 'The Glamour Boys' (2024) by Simon Dredge.

Finally I was able to record one of the woodpeckers in the garden this weekend. I feel so privileged to have up to three of these amazing birds visit everyday. Thanks to the free Merlin bird call app.

I watched it in the City Hospital after having an emergency appendectomy. Ciggie in hand, drip in arm on the TV in the Dayroom. The day before the orderlies asked if I wanted to be put in a wheelchair to go and watch the Twelfth 😳

I got an enquiry from a US academic about an exhibition held in Belfast in 1935. We had the catalogue in our archive. Who knew the Belfast Museum & Art Gallery @ulstermuseum.org
were so forward thinking! #WaltDisney

A still life painting of a vase of flowers tipped on its side. The bouquet is large and bright, spilling off the edge of the canvas.

πŸ‘ƒ Today's #OnlineArtExchange theme is 'smells in art' for β€˜Scented Visions' at the Watts Gallery.

🌸 'Still Life' by Georges Jeannin overflows with sensory information. You can almost smell the bright bouquet and the slightly acrid odor of the spilt vase water.

My husband who is the complete and utter Heinlein fan. Don’t read Starship Troopers first. Read Revolt in 2100, Moon is a Harsh Mistress and Stranger in a Strange Land. Also Job, Comedy of Justice.

More fantastic feedback to the β€˜Wild Ireland: Past, Present, Future’ exhibition at the #UlsterMuseum. People are concerned about the environmental crisis but ultimately hopeful and energised to play their part in protecting our planet.
