A previously unknown (to me) Michael Powell film called The Phantom Light (1935). One actor in it rejoiced in the name of Fewlass Llewellyn. Set in Wales, mainly in a lighthouse, it starts at Tan y Bwlch railway station, where the station mistress wears Welsh costume, including the hat! #WalesFilm
I came across a TV show called M Squad (1959), starring Lee Marvin as a police captain trying to catch arsonists in Chicago. The guest actors were James Coburn and Leonard Nimoy, as the arsonists. #YouTube

I always liked Joan Greenwood. Way back in the 1990s, I used to go for manicures at a salon near Oxford St (London) run by an actress. Joan Greenwood was a client, and one day, I found myself having a manicure next to her. She was charming...that voice!
I'm all for women's roles being improved. I don't know about the new Tom Jones. I can't think of it without Albert Finney! I'll look it up anyway.
There's an interesting book out called "one star away"; true story I read it quite a few years ago, but it touches on the Polish evacuation into Siberia and the children that were then moved into Iran and India and how beautiful that assistance was
