Who is actually bringing you joy over here? I love that I know so many people who care deeply about so many things. But I also need a breather sometimes with puns and jokes so I don’t spend my entire day freaking out about the state of the world.
Yeah. We had never been apart for that long and certainly never gone that long without talking! It made her 9 days in Peru last year feel like nothing.
It was a biodiversity research program. One week in the jungle. One week on an island. No electricity except while traveling. It was through Operation Wallacea.
I just took a nap so intense that I woke up unsure if it was morning or night and who else was in the house.
Know what’s even less fun as doing bullshit administrative crap? Helping your kid do it. Passwords created randomly and not remembered or noted is so helpful. Sure. We can wait 2 weeks for a code to come by mail. Great.
Dang. Do I have to ask my parents? This is the only place they don’t interact with my content and I therefore have the illusion of some freedom of speech.

I quit coffee over a year ago. I miss it but I sleep better since. Last night was a question of my crappy sleep schedule over Christmas and new years. I just need to reset.
I know that’s the “healthy” way to do things! I sleep with a podcast on so I always have my phone.

What do you do when you’re awake in the middle of the night. Last night I went to sleep and woke up two hours later. My body thought it was a nap (to be fair when I woke up was still earlier than I’ve been going to bed lately). Then it took me 4 hours to sleep. I ended up eating popcorn at 4:30am.
There are two Christmas gifts hidden somewhere in this house and I can’t figure out where.
