One of Lutz early interviews he was asked about maintaining a list of possible candidates to be Aberdeen manager. He said that was his job. Well he clearly didn’t have anyone lined up to replace JT which just adds to the surprise of why JT was punted as the window opened.

I’m just not getting the forward thinking, or lack of. If this is a write off of a season then any signing we do make should surely be with next season in mind. The short term-ism has been rife in our club for years.

No surprise. Much excitement and anticipation was fairly quickly replaced by frustration at watching a player who so clearly thought he could do it all himself.
No doubt a talented individual, but a big disappointment in the end.

Lutz has a lot more convincing to do now than when he started for me. I’m concerned.

Yes, exactly.
Same issues all over the pitch. Too many new players learning about each other. That takes time.

We had our best form when our starting line up was consistent. Only when we were making 5 changes a game did it really fall apart.
Unfortunately a high intensity tactic and heavier winter pitches means we’ll need to learn to cope with more changes.
