The consistency of the ingredients. Haroseth on mutzah = wonderful. Sticking extra mutzah on top = squeezefest. Plus it moves it away from the perfect mutzah:haroseth ratio.

Although I think we can all agree it's not a very good sandwich. Mutzah and a soft filling is a recipe for extra laundry.

So Labour/Reform can pick who's in the shadow cabinet by just sending a load of bots to 'engage' with whichever no-hoper they fancy being Shadow Chancellor?

I'd be more jumpy about that than the current proposals. Seems more of a deviation from people being equal under the law

It reeks of very junior staff being left to make it up as they go along whilst HQ stare at financial reports instead.

It's certainly more logical than either the current or proposed systems.

It's a distraction from the actual problem, for sure. But where do we draw the line? I struggle to find a good fundemental argument why it's OK to not have jury trials for, say, common assaults but it’s an affront to democracy to stop allowing them for ABH charges?

Plus, regardless of whether you feel any sympathy for them, they are likely scared. So they want to believe the line in addition to the political/legal value in being instep with the Emirati government & the social benefit of mirroring their fellow expats.

Yes! Due to how precarious a career in academia can be I've never met an academic who's not focused on money. The PhD sudents working out how they can pay for food that week, post docs deciding between working in the feild they love vs earning a living wage or tentured folk trying to fund their dept

Interestingly, in both cases the key to not engaging was a vibe check plus listening to the women in their lives.

Not being particularly motivated by money also appears to have been useful in helping them make good decisions.

Absolutely. Even just from an operational stand point it's worrying that this can happen in Cat A dispersal prisons. Not that violence in prsion is ever good, but, given the high turnover of prisoners in local Cat Bs them being chaotic is less surprising.
