Alito will explain on an ad hoc basis. (Which I believe was Justice Sotomayor's point.)

We have the "right" to vote as long as we vote "right."
The guy can't walk down a ramp, but he uses taxpayer resources to generate an AI of him as a hockey player?
Dehumanization is an inside job, externalized and weaponized in a depraved effort to normalize it.
How many of these are going to be generated before he realizes that the AI tech he's paid to push is 💯 available against him?
I await an update from Dark Mirror Episode 1, "National Anthem."
A child dying of cancer spent her final days fighting to free her wrongfully detained father from ICE custody.
This comes just weeks after a mother from Maryland was denied the right to be at her son’s side as he died from cancer.
Not one dime for this cruelty.

The GOP is not "unAmerican." It is anti-American--consistantly attacking millions of US citizens at a time
"Watchfulness is the most dangerous form of resistance because it obstructs the Trump regime’s project of habituation. Fascism works by making the extreme normal."

If there's one thing Jordan is expert in, it's deflecting from a sexual exploitation investigation.
There is no safe neutral ground on the steep slope of dehumanization. Our moral imaginations are both our birthright and our responsibility.

I'm old enough to remember 15 months ago when Republicans thought fetuses had full rights as US citizens. (Spoiler alert: their recognition of "rights" are purely expediencies of power.)

"...refuse to get tired of calling out evil and injustice. Don’t slide into vague language, polite horror, and abstract grief. Refuse to let brutality become normal simply because it has become familiar."

Two broad winged hawks perched atop a mailbox while a squirrel runs behind them on the street.
A Red Tail used to nest on the roof of the building my office was in. They kept the squirrel population under control. These broad wings are generally good for voles and chipmunks, and lizards & small snakes. Squirrels are pretty safe from them.
(I alway call this phone pic, "Be The Squirrel!")
Arnoldo Bazan and I share a last name. It's a fairly rare name. My Bazán ancestor came north in 1805, so Arnoldo and I are unlikely to be kin within the last 5-8 generations, but we are brothers now.
No. I think the "banana for scale" is a requirement for the Dull Men's Club. Your SLR disqualifies you for membership.
Looks like a juvenile Coopers to me, but we have both Cooper's and Sharp-Shinned hawks in my neighborhood, and I generally just guess about the juveniles unless there's a banana in the picture for scale (😆).
It was about 10 ft from my front door.
Broad winged hawk perched atop a double hook bird feeder pole.
All I had was a phone yesterday. But this broad wing didn't seem to catch the subtle art of lurking out of sight.
Well, the never saw the sequel, anyway.
That's the only way it works as the adjective: "buttoxicated."
Apparently he never saw the end of "Triumph of the Will."

Poem on Amanda Gorman's Instagram account: @amandascgorman Minneapolis, Minnesota For Renee Nicole Good Killed by I.C.E. on January 7, 2026 by Amanda Gorman They say she is no more, That there her absence roars, Blood-blown like a rose. Iced wheels flinched & froze. Now, bare riot of candles, Dark fury of flowers, Pure howling of hymns. If for us she arose, Somewhere, in the pitched deep of our grief, Crouches our power, The howl where we begin, Straining upon the edge of the crooked crater Of the worst of what we've been. Change is only possible, & all the greater, When the labour & bitter anger of our neighbors Is moved by the love & better angels of our nature.
They must not win. We cannot let them make us fear and hate them the way they fear and hate us.

I'm going to listen to these two fine people have a conversation.
The Times wrote a puff piece on him as a builder, so now he fancies himself a purveyor of tacky.
They call a mother and child to the door, and then blow it in.

I suspect that as Trump corkscrews into the ground, JD is going to go the way of Spiro T. Agnew.
I can't think of a better case for antitrust enforcement than Paramount's complicity in covering up these human rights crimes.
The "60 Minutes" segment CBS tried to bury:

Did they substitute a story about the production of "The Future Belongs To Me," from Cabaret?
