I hate how I can only draw things for a few days and then I go straight back Into art block, I’m still drawing people’s bugs cause I wanna but it’s slow.

Getting a hang of finding my style

I notice there’s a subset in the furry community specifically for bugs, it’s like a whole little community of its own.

Rivellia syngenesiae (Platystomatidae)...an attractive signal fly which wing-waves constantly.

Sympycnus pulicarius...a tiny, long-legged doli, the male with some short bristles on the fore tibiae

Spear-winged fly, Lonchoptera lutea...a common species found throughout the year around grassland and woods

Hoverfly Neaoscia podagrica hanging off the edge of a Creeping Butterfly petal.

I used to own a grasshopper named EXTREME OVERLORD RULER. He lived in a giant jar and lived way longer than I expected. I had a funeral for him and wrote him a eulogy. And I made and buried him in a mini coffin. I have a shrine up for him this day.
