71 out of 75 crocus bulbs came up in the front lawn this year. Now for the daffodils. The first just bloomed.

I remain so mad about the FDA’s refusal to even look at the mRNA flu vaccine, let alone when I learned earlier this week of a treatment trial where an mRNA vaccine stopped an aggressive form of breast cancer in its tracks. Full cure.

It has been pointed out by someone with a different marketing classification to their generation, that I might have dated myself with reference to the Pinto. The Pinto was a car in the 70s that when rear ended would douse the occupants with fuel before catching fire. The UAW made lots of them.

Nurses and Teachers are the only two unions I know of that will strike because their customers are getting screwed. They may also ask for a living wage, but along with that they ask for better service for their customers. I never heard of an autoworker striking because the Pinto was a death trap.
