I'm currently apartment hunting in vrchat cause the orange man has made it to where it's the closest thing I'll ever get to actual apartment hunting
It's all just one big distraction. For 20+ years they've pitted people against each other by saying "these people hate you because you believe this thing or these people are a danger to us", but ever since covid they've been sloppy about it, treating all of us like we're all too stupid to notice it.
If you believe more VTubers need to have knowledge in ethics and legalities when it comes to making content, I'm working on a free guide for people to easily share and read.
What's written is based on my experience as a lawyer and VTuber.

Someday, we'll all realize that the democratic and republican parties are two sides of the same coin designed to pit everyone against each other so they can do whatever they want.
Also I can't believe Solid Snake finally teamed up with Sam Fisher and it wasn't even the original voice actor for Sam π
The people who support ai probably sided with the institute in fallout 4.
Seeing tiktoks of people being mad at others for time travelling in Pokopia. Am I back in 2020?? Iβm having DΓ©jΓ vu from Animal Crossing. Let people play games how they wanna, it doesnβt affect you π I only have issues if they spoil content for people who donβt time travel.
Stream end! We went longer than I intended but that's okay! We got a lot done. Since I didn't stream Tuesday we'll do Max Payne tomorrow. Good nighttttt!

They believe that this war in particular will reveal their Messiah, and which will begin the End Times according to their texts.
It gets worse. It's apparently being done to fulfill Jewish End Times prophecy. Several US troops have filed complaints that their commanders have told them that its being done so that Trump can bring about Armageddon, which is basically the end of the world according to Jewish scripture.
Yeah it's a bug that somehow comes back every few updates. It's a pain when making alt text. π
That's the same logic as "everyone else is smoking, you should too" or "everyone else is driving off the bridge, how about you?"
Now, while it is important to pick a version that you can understand, it's also important to choose a version that doesn't fill your head with misinterpretations of the Bible and Godβs word. For example, the KJV of the Bible is probably the version closest to the original texts in English that we can understand. The King James Version (KJV) of the Bible was completed in 1611. It was commissioned by King James I of England and undertaken by a group of scholars with the aim of providing an English translation that was both accessible and faithful to the original texts. In terms of accuracy, the KJV is based on the available manuscripts at the time, including the Textus Receptus for the New Testament and the Masoretic Text for the Old Testament. It's a revered translation that has also had a significant impact on English literature and language.
The NKJV is essentially the KJV without the Thee's and Thou's, which is why I recommend it. It's the version I've been using to go over the Bible with you all, as well. Notice how there's very little changed in what was written in the KJV? That's what you should strive for when reading the Bible. The New King James Version (NKJV) was first published in 1982. It was created to maintain the beauty and style of the original King James Version while updating the language for modern readers. The NKJV uses the same underlying texts as the KJV but incorporates improvements based on the latest biblical scholarship. As far as accuracy goes, the NKJV strives to be faithful to the original languages of Scripture. It employs a word-for-word translation philosophy, which aims to closely adhere to the original texts in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. The translators worked diligently to provide a balance between literal translation and readability, making it accessible while preserving the message of Scripture.
However, notice that in the NIV, it now gives a completely different proverb in the first half of the verse? It's like reading something different from what we saw originally, despite it being the same verse. The New International Version (NIV) of the Bible was first published in 1978, with revisions released in subsequent years, including a significant update in 2011. The NIV was created by a team of scholars aiming to present an accurate yet readable translation that would resonate with contemporary readers. The NIV utilizes a dynamic equivalence translation philosophy. This means that while it seeks to convey the meaning of the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts, it sometimes prioritizes thought-for-thought translation over a word-for-word approach. This method ensures the text is understandable, especially for those new to the Scriptures, albeit while changing scripture a little bit.
Now, the ERV version of this verse practically changes the whole thing to something entirely different. Compare it to the KJV or the NKJV, and it's confusing to see how or why it was changed this much at all. The Easy-to-Read Version (ERV) was first published in 1987. It was designed specifically to provide a clear and simple English translation of the Bible, making it accessible to those who may have difficulty understanding traditional language, including children and non-native English speakers. The ERV also follows a thought-for-thought translation philosophy, similar to the NIV. While it may not always adhere to a strict word-for-word translation, the goal is to convey the essence of the Scriptures. While some may see this as okay, when you end up changing entire verses and think, "This is fine cause it keeps the essence of what God's all about", you end up with misinterpretations and confusion.
Today I'm going to go over Proverbs 18:24, but I'm doing it to show why it's important to choose a version of the Bible to read that doesn't stray too far from the original texts. I'll go over it and post historical facts about the different versions as well as their accuracy in the alt texts.

Ironmouse got me back into The Walking Dead series, so after I'm done with the Splinter Cell series, we'll do that.
Nah, it's about the battlefields we made along the way.
In verses 18-19, God is warning Ezekial that whoever he doesn't warn about what will happen to them if they don't turn from their ways, their blood will be on his hands. But if they refuse to listen after he warned them, then their demise is their own doing. Even back then, when Israel was worshipping idols and other gods and sacrificing children to these other gods, God was still willing to give those who would turn from their wicked ways a chance, by telling Ezekial to warn them. We see Him do this in other books of the Bible, like in Jonah when He tells Jonah to warn Nineveh to turn from their ways or He'll destroy them. That may seem harsh in the eyes of someone who doesn't believe and only reads the Bible to criticize it, but it's a huge act of mercy. Think about how evil a town has to be for God to go out of His way to destroy it. Now, think about how merciful it is for Him to send someone to warn those same people, people who probably mock Him, reject Him, hate Him, treated His followers with disdain, to change their ways or they will be destroyed. This is also the Christian message, a warning to turn to Christ, change your ways, repent while you still can, so that you may not perish. If I don't tell you about Jesus or about the consequences of sin, then your blood is on my hands, but if I do tell you about it, and you refuse, then you won't be able to say "no one told me" and what happens to you will be your own doing. So please, for your own sake, turn from the things of this world and go to Jesus. It doesn't matter how much you've done, I promise you, he's waiting for you with open arms.
Now, in verse 27, the Lord is speaking to the prophet Ezekiel, instructing him to convey His messages to the people of Israel. When He says βHe who hears, let him hear; and he who refuses, let him refuseβ, it emphasizes personal choice. It highlights that people have the freedom to listen and respond to God's message or to reject it. This can resonate with anyone, as it reflects a reality of communication: not everyone is open to advice or truth, and thatβs just a harsh reality of the world and to understand that others might not always agree or listen. It's important to be clear and faithful in sharing oneβs beliefs, while also recognizing that acceptance is a persons own choice. Jesus said the same words as well multiple times throughout the gospels, possibly quoting from the book of Ezekiel, or maybe even hinting at who He really was when saying, "He who hears, let him hear".
Today's verses are Ezekiel 3:18-19 and verse 27 from the same chapter. They come from the Old Testament right before Israel's exile. Context in the alt text.
