I had this same question! Never did get a good answer. My mom said that God had created other tribes but the Bible just didn’t mention that, which made me wonder ‘what else doesn’t the Bible mention?’ And then the whole thing falls apart.

I was told that questioning things was a sign I lacked faith, which was - of course - a sin.

Didn’t help that I was also told God could read my mind so even if I only THOUGHT a question - yep, sin!

Started young when the leaders couldn’t answer (and then got upset by) simple questions such as ‘If Adam & Eve were the only people, who did Caine and Able have kids with?’

Went from there to seeing how they treated vulnerable folks (not well).

Didn’t help that I’m not keen on misogyny and racism.

Good of you to do that work for the men who will inevitably not do it themselves and also be upset that they don’t know.

Military tattoos are meaningful & meant to show how we identify.
