A not insubstantial amount of the weight I gained after Jack was born was that the grocery store nearby had packs of really good Nanaimo bars I kept buying
We gotta get you a Nanaimo bar and some butter tarts
It's convenient though! Jugs feel huge and then they take up so much space in the recycling whereas the bags get used to and are less plastic. And because the opening is tiny the milk is fine for the length of time a bag lasts π cause there's only 1.33L in each
They make milk products! I have a lot of gay lea butter!
That's because you're cute! π₯°
A jug containing a milk bag being held up
The milk jug tucked into the fridge door with the ketchup and the parmesan. On the shelf above is whipped cream & maple syrup
It's convenient! It fits in the fridge door!
Hey, Canada is way better than either of those! And after a long winter of negative temperatures it feels practically balmy
I at least converted to using kg for body mass a few years back, though a lot of that was because my scale kept switching back to it and I got too lazy to change it and now I intuit my weight in kg
Yeah we're looking at negative temps again after Thursday for next week but at least the projected precipitation is in the couple of cm range snuck which will melt fast and not stick around π
Yeah I only know what Β°F feels like for pools π that and cooking
Ha North York in Toronto! We're looking at 15Β°C days for the next few so I'm expecting all the snow to be melted by Monday or Tuesday
Walking down a water logged path between trees, the fog obscures the way
It's so warm all the snow is making it foggy, what vibe
It is 8Β° out and it's not even 9am yet. So glorious. I missed warmth
Emily's makeup: wine colored eyeliner with smokey black liner. Lipstick is slightly too pink for the wine colored eyes
I can't seem to find the shade of lipstick that matches these eyes but this will have to do
Ooo dang, I mostly haven't repeated π€ also lots of weird names like Monique & Brechin etc
Though it probably should have been telling to me that when making a character that was basically myself I made her a girl π€ but it took another 9 months to figure that bit out
I'm bad at roleplaying cause I let too much of my own personality leak in, so I embraced the idea of bubbly and power mad π€
See I know a site that sells that pattern she I *am* tempted to make it, but I'd need to learn how to adjust it for having a bust π€
it was a short campaign since we knew we wouldn't have time to play once our baby was born so we were playing Waterdeep: Dragon heist. She was like a blonde noble socialite socially who was into adventuring specifically because of her academic interest in necromantic magic. More debuff than control
I do love a stealth level though some of those were a pain in the ass π I haven't played the 2nd of the Sony games but the first one was a lot of fun.
Anyway once my egg cracked I used it again for my experiments on a Discord server to see how I'd feel being perceived as a girl online, and it just kind of stuck. Whenever I considered other names I didn't like them as much for myself, so I just kind of rolled with Emily π everyone agrees it suits
Disputed, apparently.
Emily was on the shortlist of names for a daughter my wife and I had made alongside Katherine, and we each think we contributed it to that shortlist π
the last D&D campaign I played before my egg cracked I borrowed the name for my character, a bubbly necromancer
Ahh fair enough, the "knock" bit was throwing me cause it's usually meant as an insult.
This is a weird comment to make to a stranger
Always a little depressing creeping real estate listings and seeing a place nearby listed for $1 million and it's like "yeah this is a good lot for knocking over this house & building a mansion, the main use for all the 40-50ft lots here."
Caught! π€ I forget sometimes!
I'm surprised given we're both pale and I know pink does not work with my skin tone π€
Emily in a green knit sweater dress with red leggings. She's got a black waist belt on and her hair down, but hasn't done makeup yet
Going to a friend's birthday tonight so I threw on something less "works from home" π
I am shocked to discover Green is in the favorites π€
