A graph showing the relations of varying systems of an app.
i recently started "drawing" mermaid graphs in my markdown files - its much clearer than writing out the relations between systems imo.
Graffiti > typography > graphic design > web development π
Such a fun concept!!
Look, you might think frontend is fine and going well, but today I found a 1.1MB PNG (that could have been a 40K AVIF) in the critical path of an important app.
Embedded in an SVG as a `data:` URL.
Shipped as a React component.
Sweeet! I tried to do something similar but with Switch 1 UI back when Spatial Navigation got proposed. Still a feature I'd like to see on the web someday!

Awful βΉοΈ
<0.1ms realtime render time (M2)

Couple zoomed in stills
I did some more WebGPU doodles w/ Three.js last night β€οΈ

Raddddd
Tomb raider vibes, looks sick man
Freestyling some type treatments with shaders through Three.js
Love the Ikeda energy on this π₯
I'll rewrite it in native for now as I think it'll be a cool exercise. Didn't know you could do this with Curtains though! I always associated it to be specifically for `DOM <-> webgpu` bindings and stuff
Ooo I might use this!
Thinking of rewriting this from Babylonjs to vanilla webgpu, I don't use that many of bjs' features, and I reckon i can reduce the file size drastically. The javascript is currently around 1MB(gzipped).
Honestly I'm shook
Unreal you bring this up too, Totem has been one of my biggest inspirations since I was a kid β€οΈ
Yess dude!! Love that you said that, because thatβs exactly what Iβm going for.
Iβm trying to blend mecha and wildstyle graffiti
Couple more iterations I thought were pretty.

Beautiful!

Thanks!! π
I love the "weight" of the motion, they really feel like wooden cutouts π
I'm trying some colour explorations too
I did some generative stuff using WebGPU! I am super proud and happy how these turned out, to a point where I want to do a little series of these graffiti-inspired abstract objects.
All composed and rendered with @babylonjs.bsky.social
