I know people are very sensitive about the use of the word “genocide” but the attempts to medically eliminate trans children is very clearly meets the standard because they are trying to eliminate a population and also they know some of those kids are going to kill themselves

Trans kids deserve protection and love, and it’s up to us to show that to them. They deserve to know that they’re loved, unconditionally, and that there is a world beyond the hate and fear that pointlessly demonizes them.

Institutional transphobia is a terrifyingly powerful tool, and they are only sharpening their methods. it is incumbent on all of us to fight for them, defend their right to exist, and push back wherever possible to ensure they get to live the lives they deserve.

And I mean social murder in the most basic, visceral sense of the phrase. They want us dead, but do not have the courage of their convictions, so we get separated from anything that could save us, and we die or kill ourselves. It’s a simple, cowardly, politically clean method.

I’ve talked a lot about “normalizing social murder”, in the Engelsian sense, when I talk about the reactionary rhetoric around trans kids.
You find a wedge, immiserate them, destroy their support systems, outlaw their care—everything possible to kill them indirectly. Then you escalate.
