• Now a new beginning with the creation of Medical Staff Wellness Committee

Some key moments in the development:

• MHSCares4DR peer support created during the pandemic in 2020

• System-wide clinician well-being survey in 2024

Work in clinician well-being has been going on throughout the system for some time, but this represents a new collective effort.

I hope it will inspire physicians, advanced practice providers, and administrative leaders across the system to think about well-being as "everyone's job."

This new committee will have representatives from across the system, representing every hospital, clinics, including employed clinicians, and those who are affiliated by practice.
