Alright, I think people knew of the tariff pause and traded it beforehand.
You can see before Trump posted "buy" on Truth Social, traders opened $QQQ $TQQQ and $SPY calls
RIGHT BEFORE THE NEWS, someone opened $SPY 509 calls, expiring TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Those calls are up 2100% in one hour.
Look, what else do you need to see what is happening here? Trump literally said "THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO BUY!!!" 4 hours before calling off tariffs for 90 days. This is the most obvious large scale scam ever. WTF.

Let's internalize this for a second.

Okay lets game this out: You are a Nintendo employee given unlimited funds and authority to move Switch 2 production to the US. No new factories, that's going to take way too long, you need to work with existing American Contract Manufacturing capacity. How fast can you do it?

This shouldn’t be a complicated issue — it’s a basic test of decency. The fact that this is happening, openly, and the response is so muted... it’s chilling. 8/8
This is so clearly morally indefensible that I genuinely don’t understand how this isn’t a national crisis. Even Joe Rogan, of all people, seems to have more moral clarity on this than many elected officials. 7/8
It’s not deportation — it’s state-sponsored kidnapping. The human impact is devastating. And honestly, what stuns me most is the silence. Where is the outrage? Why aren’t people out in the streets? 6/8
A judge even said that Nazis received better legal protections under the Alien Enemies Act during WWII — and that's not hyperbole. People today, including citizens and visa holders, are being swept up with no recourse, no transparency, no rights. 5/8
Lovett described the system as a cruel and incompetent bureaucracy, the most dangerous kind. And he’s right. The process is so broken that even when the government admits a mistake, they claim they can't fix it. 4/8
One example: a gay hairdresser who went to an asylum appointment and ended up imprisoned in El Salvador, completely cut off from his family, unaware that anyone is even fighting for him. It's not just wrong — it’s a nightmare. 3/8
What’s especially disturbing is how often innocent people are being caught in the system: legal residents, asylum seekers, people showing up for appointments in good faith — suddenly vanished into foreign detention centers, with no way back. 2/8
In a recent episode of the Pivot podcast (Liberation Day, Elon Exit Rumors - 4/4/25) @karaswisher.bsky.social and @jonlovett.bsky.social laid out a brutal picture of the Trump administration’s deportation policies — not just harsh, but chaotic and dangerously incompetent. 1/8
Folks, the *goal* is to tank the dollar. That’s a feature not a bug. Once again begging people to read through this very comprehensive guide to what we’re dealing with right now: www.vcinfodocs.com/venture-capi...
(more on the dollar stuff in particular: www.vcinfodocs.com/implications...)
Two things from parallel universes that made my day :
1. The Sex Pistols announce first North American tour in 2 decades apnews.com/article/sex-...
2. The Lumon Terminal Pro is on the Apple Store www.apple.com/mac/lumon-te...
Today, I’m starting to disengage from Meta/Facebook. I’ve been using this platform for way too long, even though I feel a deep disgust for the company and its leaders. The buildup of their missteps, including their submission to trumpist ideology, has become unbearable.
definitely @inevernu, this was the first thing I typed to find you :) I would say that @sentiers also probably deserve it's own separate account?
