This will be a fun novelty than a realistic catching opportunity, I think, but worth popping on an Incense in Pokémon Go this weekend 👇
Our tiny little website currently has the 4th-placed story on r/all, which is doing all kinds of weird and beautiful things to our monthly traffic (which doesn't normally operate at anywhere near that scale)
Amazing work from @nicolecarpenter.bsky.social, as always!

I’m a sucker for unlocking things early, and testing time-sensitive games, so was fun to explore all that in Pokémon Pokopia today:
With GDC only a few days away, I added @nicolecarpenter.bsky.social's brilliant gaming union zine/explainer to archive.org. The previous host for the PDF added a monthly subscription.

Good. The report clearly states:
-the government must not weaken copyright law, and should instead strengthen licensing, transparency & enforcement
- the government should stop prioritising large multinational tech firms

A dialogue box from Pokémon Pokopia with the text: "Odo... It seems you might have some sort of mysterious power."
I could only name my Ditto one thing...
It’s brutal, especially this early on! There is obviously more combat throughout the game but nothing as rough as that patch.
If useful, I found Volt Forge to be the hardest area, specifically that combat-filled tower. Eases off a bit from there!
Worked with Alix a bunch during EG's on-site video push and he's superb.
Everyone mentioned here deserves better, but shout out to video editor Alix who was the 'invisible' team member of the RPS Video gang. Edited our first six months of the channel, took my rambling notes and turned them into some early wins. Was an exciting, fulfilling time. Hope someone snaps him up.
I'm so sorry to hear this Zoe 😔
Sadly my role as Video Producer on Eurogamer's YouTube channel has been made redundant. After 7 years it's a heart-breaking goodbye, but I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be continuing to create the deepest of dives into videogame lore on my own YouTube channel! 🔍

With all the AI-fuelled Windows 12 news doing the rounds, this is very interesting timing:
Saddened to announce I was affected by the recent Polygon layoffs. Though my time there was short, it was an incredible experience with a truly lovely bunch of people.

Favourite returning feature - at some in-person Go Fests, you can pay an extra $100 for a lounge with, among other things, "upgraded restrooms"
Capcom has basically owned January / February for close to a decade
