My plan for overworld movement speed is to have it by default capped but you can hold a key while moving to uncap it if you want to see just how much you can zoom if not for said cap. And likely learn why the cap is there in the process.

This does also mean that if you, say, put 10k in boobs but then put another 10k in muscle, your boob size would be cut in half due to how the visual scaling cap works. of course, said boobs would still be Very Big, mind. but smaller visually than they were before. Main reason for this is so that different builds don't lose their visual identity as you keep progressing. Since you'll naturally end up with little sprinkles of other stats, and if you're far in enough eventually "little sprinkles" could themselves be greater than 10k, and if everything was just capped to 10k individually, then you'd lose sight of the attributes you're actually prioritizing. i think this makes sense?

plus, this change means even more and crazier stats and numbers over time! since i no longer have to use floats for that (can convert the Bigs to floats for processing visuals since the visual numbers will never be big enough to incur precision issues)

it's still a game about getting really big and hyper!!! just, making a compromise with the floating point satan

I think as a playability compromise I am gonna cap the VISUAL scaling in Cenper. not the attributes and stats themselves goodness no. But basically - your VISUALS can display stats only up to, whatever number before things start getting janky, let's say 10,000 And if your attribute total is more than 10,000, then your VISUAL attributes are displayed based on how they'd be if your total was 10,000 but with the same proportional attributes I think this is a fair compromise just to keep the game scalable Will hopefully be higher, too. As high as I can get without playability majorly faltering Also means that I can use the Big datatype for stats and (non-visual) attributes too, for functionally infinite stats and progression. So even once characters' proportions stop changing visually, they're still getting stronger and stronger.
