Really impressed with Cronometer's database and ability to add foods with simple scanning of packaging. Very quick and accurate! Sharing meals is a slightly different workflow but completely workable. Lovely interface, works well with Garmin too.

Switched from MyFitnessPal to Cronometer and so far very happy. I'm very strict on tracking my macros and MFP's database just wasn't up to scratch. Pair that with sharing meals being broken for the past month with no resolution in site, I've got over the sunk cost as a Premium member and moved.
This is also off the back of my partner's sister pointing my gains out a few weeks back so I can't even pretend it was someone taking pity on my scrawny muscles xD
I am of course aware that five years at the gym, three of them seriously, has had a very decent impact. But I suppose I don't really think others see that (which is fine, I'm not doing it for them). It's just still a bit of a (nice) shock when it is noticed. Not really used to it. π
Feels good when someone in your gym comes over to praise your progress. I'm a pretty solitary "lift heavy things" kind of guy, though I have an excellent PT and am on first name terms with some of the other regulars. But someone going out of their way to basically say "dem muscles though" is lovely
I have a wonderful friend to thank for giving me his code. Gutted he had to drop as we'd initially planned to go together, but it did give another friend the opportunity to go so absolutely not wasted. And I hope he's ready for all the random merch coming his way afterwards π€£
Feels a bit surreal knowing I'm going to Fanfest this time. Like many others I was gutted to not get tickets for London!
It might not fall on my birthday this time but the prospect of a weekend away in Berlin nerding over Final Fantasy with a couple of great friends is just as exciting. π
If you have an interest (or frankly, even if you don't - go learn something interesting!) I highly recommend joining one of Sacha's excellent tours
A lovely afternoon spent exploring some of the British Museum through a queer lens, with the wonderful @sachacoward.bsky.social as our guide. LGBT+ history gets so glossed over or twisted that it's difficult to claim our own narratives. This kind of thing's so important to breaking away from that

Labour MP Clive Lewis doesnβt hold back on the Gorton and Denton result in this interview with ITV
Labour partisans will try to say itβs a meaningless by-election midway through the governmentβs term. Theyβd be wrong. The Greens have now told the voting public that a vote for them is not wasted and they can win in a safe Labour seat.
really starting to understand why that old woman left it all behind to go live in a shoe

Standing in front of the American Psycho musical logo
Super happy to have to chance to see the American Psycho musical now it's back in London. Extra special it being in the same lovely theatre we originally saw it at. It's undergone significant changes and feels extremely polished. Never a book I'd expect to receive a musical but it works too well!
A photo of an ice cream machine with a sign reading, "Anything is possible with ice cream." Beneath that is a hand lettered sign reading, "No ice cream".

Me. I have a t-shirt. It says Redrum. There is very little else to it...
If you say 'Redrum' three times in the mirror a homosexual will appear and tell you about their air fryer.

Maybe you thought "This guy seems sensible, I'll give him a follow" and then I post stuff like this π€£
βJim Ratcliffeβs comments were outrageous. They are offensive and they were deeply wrong. We do have a problem in our country, and that problem is inequality. Itβs not immigration.β

Picked up this stunning Scary Monsters Bowie print from the Duffy Archive. Bizarrely I'd never seen this set before and it really just spoke to me on such a level I needed it on my wall. Absolutely mesmerising work.
The Marie Antoinette exhibition at the V&A was at once delightfully informative, very interesting, and terribly sad. Always appreciate the work that goes into these temporary spaces, and this one was sold out for good reason!
I was taken with this fabric, love how the fraying adds to the fur effect
Polanski is a pleasure to interview because he will answer any question about anyone. Wes Streeting? βWes is attacking me every day on social media because Iβm another gay man in politics who is not willing to throw the trans community under the bus and that exposes his abject immorality. He must know what itβs like to be othered but heβs more bothered about power than protecting the other. Itβs disgraceful.β
Okay but Zack Polanski has been coming out with bangers
Is this book finally starting to come true?
Was very excited to hear there was a McSims in Tooting, so had to go find it and fulfill my urgent need for timpana. Mission success, delicious pastizzi acquired too.
Haven't been to Tooting in years. I adore the market, absolutely buzzing with life and loads of interesting shops and restaurants.
again it is very funny that conspiracy theorists think they need to crack some elaborate code the elites use to communicate, when in reality they're just like "see you at sex crime island! bring the harem!"
