for a moment there i thought 'being on a yuck trip' was a new synonym for 'getting the ick' and i was ready to introduce it to my lexicon
Gorgeous piece, brought tears to my eyes!
[singing snow patrol to my dog]: if I lay here, if i just lay here, would you lie with me and just forget the world
my dog: this is boring Iโm gonna go sleep in a different room
The unmistakable jingling of a freshly arrived Waxwing calling from a treetop on the Irish coastline, at dawn from this time last year. These birds occasionally come from Scandinavia to feast on our berries for the winter!

And there are some genuinely funny bits which is rare in a film of this genre. It's completely silly but I enjoyed every ridiculous moment. 10/10 for the name alone, but also because I was genuinely entertained throughout. Thank u hot frosty x (2/2)
Hot frosty actor standing behind an ice sculpture
Started Christmas Film Szn last night. I like em cheesy and corny but not completely sickly sweet. Began with Hot Frosty. Yes, sure, it's about an anthropomorphic snowman who can read and understands the concept of a job but doesn't know what a TV is. BUT the cast is excellent (1/2)
Got that Friday feelin'

ADORED Still life by Sarah Winman. I devoured it in 3 days. Brb, moving to Florence. Now to dig out my copy of a room with a view for a re-read...
The face of a dog who found and refused to let go of a dried frog this morning like some sort of medieval apothecary.
This is the most miserable self flagellation I have ever seen. I try to limit myself to 3 awful things a YEAR. Please tell me this isn't how most people live?? Catholic ass mindset
Melon giving 'dogs playing poker' energy today
Currently reading Demon Copperhead and am in love with the cadence of Kingsolver's prose. Any recommendations for similarly written things? Long or short form.
